Jason Krick serves as Chief Engineering Officer for the Alabama Port Authority, where he leads enterprise capital planning, engineering strategy, and infrastructure delivery in direct alignment with the Port’s long-term growth and competitive objectives. He is responsible for transforming strategic capital investments into executable programs that expand capacity, enhance reliability, optimize asset performance, and position the Port for sustained market leadership.

With more than 25 years of executive engineering experience, Jason has led large, multidisciplinary organizations delivering complex, high-visibility infrastructure portfolios. Prior to joining the Alabama Port Authority, he served as Chief of the Engineering Division for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, managing a $1.5B annual program and managing 192 professionals executing mission-critical military, civil works, and environmental programs across the world. In 2025, he was named USACE Civilian of the Year. His background includes enterprise risk management, capital portfolio governance, and oversight of nationally significant infrastructure systems.

He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama and a M.S. in Risk Management from Notre Dame of Maryland University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama and is recognized for aligning technical execution with strategic outcomes, fiscal stewardship, and long-term asset resilience.

A resident of Mobile since 1998, Jason with his wife, Laci, are the proud parents of four daughters.
