Marcus Coleman
VP of Engineering
Marcus was promoted to Vice President of Engineering in 2026 after beginning his career with the Port in 2018 as a Facilities Engineer and then promoted to Engineering Director in 2022. Prior to joining the Port, Marcus worked for an engineering consultant in his native Mississippi as a structural design engineer specializing in bridge construction.
Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, and Ohio.
He and his wife Keri have three children and reside in Saraland.
