The Director of Asset Management is responsible for developing, implementing and leading the Alabama Port Authority’s enterprise asset management program. Reporting to the Chief Engineering Officer, this position ensures that the Port’s physical assets, including marine terminals, wharves, rail infrastructure, buildings, utilities, and critical equipment are strategically managed to maximize lifecycle value, reliability, safety and return on investment. This role integrates asset strategy with capital planning, operational needs, and long-term infrastructure development to support the Port’s growth and competitive objectives.
